The Accu-Check compact meter kits consist of an electronic monitor, one-time-use strips, and a 'fingerstick' which oenetrates the epidermis of the finger with a small needle allowing a small amount of blood (only only 1.5 µl of blood is required) to be squeezed onto the strip in the monitor.
